Procurement Department

The Procurement function is an essential key service within NHS Trusts. The Optimum management of the Trust Procurement service is critical to the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical and support services. Patient care depends on the assured availability of quality equipment, materials and services. Accountability for the expenditure of taxpayer’s money requires that sound economic decisions are taken in relation to procurement ensuring value for money and elimination of commercial risk.

Our prime target is to release money that could be better spent on patient care by achieving purchasing savings and improving supply performance across our customer base."
